Is the Potty Peg System adjustable? 3-Piece System: The 3-Piece system has 16½ inches of adjustability! There are 10 different settings for the Potty Peg! At the top setting, the Potty Peg sits about 1½ inches above the toilet tank. At the lowest setting, the Potty Peg can hold the potty seat low, close to the floor! Keep your potty seat high, away from pets or low and out of the way. You’ll be amazed by the number of options you have!
2-Piece System: The Toilet Hook hangs over the toilet tank and has two holes for the Potty Peg to lock into. At this setting, the Potty Peg is 4½ inches from the top of the toilet tank. Please note: If you hang the potty seat by the large hole as shown in our pictures, the top of the toilet seat will be 2-3 inches above the Potty Peg. If your potty seat has a hook on it, the potty seat will hang below the Potty Peg. As you see from the Potty Peg dimensions above, the Potty Peg was created to hold virtually any potty seat!
How do I change the different settings on the 3-Piece System? Pegs snap into the keyholes and click when the pieces are secure. The pegs snap back out when pulled in the opposite direction, but it takes a little force. We recommend that you gently place the Potty Peg at the desired height with the hanging potty seat to determine the correct spot prior to securing the pieces.
My child will not wipe off the potty seat after use! Help!! Galti, LLC family testing found that boys who leaned forward and did not use the splash guard while using their potty seat had little or no urine on their seats. Some parents hang their Potty Peg System over the trash can, just in case. Supervision in the bathroom is always recommended to keep your bathroom safe and clean for your child.
Can my toddler use this without supervision? Yes, but this is not a toy. Many children will be able to remove their potty seat and put it on the toilet themselves. Many will also be able to put the potty seat back on the Potty Peg. Be mindful that splash guards or accidents may cause the potty seat to drip while hanging. It is suggested that potty seats and the Potty Peg System are wiped clean with soap and water frequently. Supervision in the bathroom is always recommended.
